Funded through BDR’s 2020 cash surplus, without recourse to borrowing, the acquisition includes ACR in Greater Manchester.

Tony Burrison, Managing Director, ACR “I was confident in the expertise and experience that both Gary and Stephen displayed. They promised qualified and ready buyers that would pay the valuations that I expected. 100% delivered and more!”

BDR Group Managing Director Malek Rahimi said: “The potential for growth across our newly acquired companies is huge. Bringing these companies and their expertise into the BDR family allows cross-pollination of services across the group and will enhance BDR Group’s positioning and competitiveness.”

Rahimi added that the acquisition of ACR would enable BDR Group to increase its penetration of other areas of the market and bring expertise and fresh thinking to the management team.

He said: “In all cases key management has joined the Group’s management team. I now have a much stronger and more knowledgeable management team to support the Group’s directors in their endeavours and aspirations.

“My plan is to allow the new companies to continue to operate as normal, with regular leadership meetings and interaction with the BDR Board of Directors for planning and   strategising.”
